Nestled in a quiet downtown neighbourhood, our home offers glimpses of both the Muskoka River and Lion’s Lookout. A short walk from the downtown shopping and dining experiences, and a few minutes’ drive to many local attractions including Arrowhead Park. World famous Algonquin Park is just 40 minutes away! Our home is just a few steps from the sparkling Muskoka River, perfect for a refreshing swim!
Algonquin Room
A quiet, comfortable guest room in our home in downtown Huntsville! The newly-renovated Algonquin Room offers a comfortable queen bed, en-suite bathroom, and beautiful relaxing views. This bright, quiet room is comfortable for short or long stays.
Lakeview Room
With a view of the Muskoka River leading out to Fairy Lake, the Lakeview Room is a bright, water-themed guest room in our home. With a comfortable queen bed and en-suite bathroom, this newly-renovated room always offers our guests a comfortable stay.

Our stay at Jean’s place was excellent. Everything from booking to checking out went smoothly. It was nice to come back to warm, cozy room after spending the day in Algonquin park. The room was impeccably clean and well decorated.

The house and room were full of character. The whole place was immaculately finished and tastefully done to retain the historical qualities . . . immaculately clean and well kept. The location was also perfect. Very close within five minutes walk to central Huntsville (a charming little town), grocery shops, restaurants and the laundrette should you need it. Despite all this the street still feels very quiet with plenty of free parking and the river just at the end . . . Highly recommended.

Jean & Mike’s place is very conveniently located right next to downtown and has a beautiful view of the river. Our stay was extremely pleasant and comfortable. Everything was very well organized, right from instructions to check in/house rules and there was a personally curated welcome booklet in our room that had a list of everything one needs to explore Huntsville. Would definitely recommend this listing!

I very much enjoyed my stay . . . The room is very comfortable, quiet and clean, and Jean and her family make you feel like a welcome guest in their home. The house is a very short walk from Huntsville’s Main Street and many restaurants and shops, but is set off on a quiet street with lots of trees and birds chirping all around. A great find!
